Rose City Foundation | About
Rose City Foundation is run by Matthew Briggs through Bobcat Ridge LLC, a Texas real-estate company. It exists to give Tyler-area homeowners a straight way to get a foundation measured and a fair written plan, without the sales pressure.
Why I built it
I run Texas real estate through Bobcat Ridge LLC. In that business, foundation questions come up on almost every older house. And the hardest part for an owner usually isn't the repair. It's getting a clear, unpressured answer about whether a repair is needed, and what a fair one looks like. Most homeowners only buy foundation work once or twice in their lives, and they usually buy when they're worried. That's a bad combination for getting a clear answer.
Rose City Foundation is my answer to that. Plain explanations of how East Texas ground and houses behave. Dated price ranges with the source named. And a way to reach an insured local specialist who will measure first and put the plan and warranty in writing.
What we are, and aren't
Rose City Foundation is a referral service owned by Bobcat Ridge LLC. We're not a foundation contractor, and we don't send our own crews. When you send a request, we follow up, confirm what you need, and connect you with an independent foundation specialist who covers your area. That specialist does the inspection, writes the quote and does any repair, under their own insurance and their own warranty. The specialist may pay us for the referral. That never changes what you pay them, and you never owe us anything.
The standards we hold specialists to
Texas doesn't issue a state license for foundation repair contractors, so insurance, references and written warranties are how you tell a good company from a bad one. When a structural engineer's opinion is the right next step, we'll say so.
The specialist's name, insurance and reviews will appear here once they're verified. Until then, we tell you by phone who will handle your address.
Where we work
Tyler and the towns around it: Whitehouse, Lindale, Bullard, Flint and Hideaway in Smith County; Chandler and Athens in Henderson County; Kilgore in Gregg County; Jacksonville in Cherokee County; and Mineola in Wood County. See the town list. Smaller communities in between, such as Noonday, Arp, Troup, Brownsboro, Van, Overton and Gladewater, can send a request too, and we'll tell you whether a specialist covers the address.
